The Revised Common Lectionary is an arrangement of scripture which is intended to give you exposure to the most important themes of the Bible every year in a three year cycle. The lectionary contains a reading from the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament), including a responsive psalm. It includes a reading from one of the four Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, which address the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth. It includes a reading from one of St. Paul’s letters or other readings from the New Testament.

Our pastor’s sermons are intended to be scripture-based, following the lectionary. He believes that if you bring the concerns of the day with you when you read a set of scriptures, you will encounter important insights and guidance that you might never have had otherwise. In fact, if you press him, he will tell you he believes this is how the Holy Spirit works!

Occasionally a downloadable sermon text will be posted here.
